Does not function properly, streams extremely slow. Not even worth downloading if it’s free. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Application switches off itself after one wants to come back to smaller window (after enlarging of course). You have to start the app again and again after enlarging video. It’s annoying.

I bought this app because my safari has not been working well with youtube. I tried several different apps, but all disappointed me other than this one. This app shows up on the menu’s bar and is quick to load. It’s no more different than using the online website. The only thing I might have an issue with is the fact that any click outside the apps window will close the window imediately, even touching the dock bar. But, that’s not a bad problem and doesnt really bother me. Also, when the window is closed, the audio still continues from the video, so you can go about your computer buisness while listening to you video being played.

Quick and Easy access to Youtube which is a site that I use a ton. Love it!

this app dose not work for mee every time i try to watch a video it freeze up i hope it get fix

I find that it supports all the standard YouTube website options, and its easier than using my regular browser in a tab. I love it.

Unusable. Freezes over and over on my Macbook Pro, while YouTube on Safari works just fine.

It works fine but I’d rather have it in my dock but can’t seem to make it work for there. I’d like the option.

I got this app to save me the trouble of opening up my browser and searching youtube to watch my daily videos. Besides the thought of having youtube at my fingertips, I am very dissatisfied, since most of the videos I attempt to watch freeze after 2 seconds, and refreshing does NOT help. Not to mention I can only watch 1 video at a time (you can’t open a new tab for other videos) which I could do with a browser. I don’t recommend buying this app, since it’s more of a hassle to watch videos here than it is opening up your browser and watching them there.

I have found the app to be nothing more than an expensve shortcut. All this app does is open a new window for YouTube and then there’s this little aggravating thing about it….. if your mouse happens to wander anywhere outside that window, you now have it running in the background. That’s a nice feature but it would be much more convenient if this were a deliberate effort rather than the default. Save your money. You can do the same thing just by creating a bookmark.

This app needs a major update. It doesn’t load the videos on the youtube page. It would also be great to add some Adblock to the application. It’s better to just use a new firefox or safari window that has adblock and ghostery installed to block trackers and ads. It’s a much better experience than using this app.

I am using Youtube for mostly listening to musics that are saved in my playlist. However, this app is not only frezzing all the time, but also reveals to all the advertising before video get started. the app would be nicer if you know how to block all the ads than just using safari for Youtube. I bought this app because my safari does not really work for youtube. (it does not automatically play next song when the song is ended)

Exactly what I was looking for so I would not have to open a browser just to access YouTube. However, video playback freezes (keeps buffering) almost during every video playback, making this app essencially useless and very frustrating. Analytics works just as in the browser, which is something I use often. Please fix the buffering / freezing issue and this app would deserve 4 or 5 stars. Thanks.

When i downloaded it it won’t even open! I want my money back! Or can someone tell me howto work it?!?

Basically, it’s just a nice looking quick launch icon, but that’s it. Not worth the money.

I guess I was lucky when I first purchased it because it worked fine for two days and got my hopes up. Then it just stopped working. It still opens fine for me but I can’t get it to play any videos. It plays the first few seconds of the ad (which you have no way of disabling) and then the rest of the video refused to load. This isn’t just normal buffering. It absolutely will not play more than 10 seconds of any video. A shame becasue I like the idea. I would recommend you try TubeG for Youtube instead. It costs more but so far every single video I’ve tried has worked and it plays them with no ads. This app is getting uninstalled for right now, until the dev cares to fix the problem.

Not sure why some are having problems but this app works great. Sits in the menu bar like a nice little app and when I click it, You Tube pops right on to my screen. Using a Mac Book Pro, newest OS without a hitch.

I have tried a few other native apps to play youtube content without opening the browser directly. Unlike the others, this gives me the ‘cleanest’ access to my youtube content and accesses playlists that I have created there. I think this is preferable, than managing playlists within a 3rd party app in case the API changes in the future. Well done!

I really want to love this APP and if not for a few major shortcommings (that should have been resolved before release) I would. When using the opposing arrows to Maximize the Screen the APP window actually extends off the left side of the screen hiding a portion of the left hand side of the APP. I just do not understand how this could have been released this way, especially when you are charging money for the APP. Secondly, there is NO way that I can find to reposition the screen in any way, other than to use the Opposing Arrow thing I already mentioned. These 2 issues ruin the overall effectiveness of the app and because of them I don’t even use this app any longer other than to open it every once in a while to see if the developers have updated the app to fix this. Honestly I am still shocked that they released this app this way. Poor development .. Poor Testing … couple bucks down the drain.

I bought the app because it supported fullscreen video but when i wont to go fullscreen it say its disabled and i dont understand why. I’ve been trying many apps and they tell me the same so i dont know what to do does anyone know how i can fix this if not i rather just use the browser.
